Oh and all the things that science has looked into and discovered answers for that were ascribed to god have all turned out to not require a god. Science has been so successful at this that the only place you can put god is outside of sciences current abilities.
This is sufficient evidence for the lack of god, to me anyway.
Its like if someone says ghosts move their curtains every night then someone discovers a draughty crack in the window...
You can still believe in the ghosts if you want, but you'd have to intentionally blind yourself to the facts.
So there you have it the lack of evidence for god is evidence of no god because it was supposed to be the cause of things it isn't.
But science is not the main reason I am not a christian/Muslim/Jew/scientologist/Mormon etc. I am none of these things because I find the beliefs universally stupid.
You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
