Most business would happily recognize your marriage if you have cash to buy their products. The ones that don't will be at a competitive disadvantage. Eventually they will be driven out of business completely unless laws(like minimum wage and such) are passed to prop up their businesses.
As far as your mom goes, She isn't going to recognize your new marriage because of some law.
