Although it comes as no surprise, Senate Republicans have just confirmed that they all believe that money equals speech & corporations should be allowed to spend as much as they desire, untraceably, on election campaigns. This is despite the fact that 80% of US citizens oppose the Citizen's United ruling that has allowed unlimited dark money to be funneled into mostly Republican campaigns.
This was a party line vote. Every single ® either voted against the amendment or abstained. Here's hoping they get punished at the voting booth this November.
