To be far that view is a little simplistic. I think that with you analyze the different denominations almost taxonomically. The reason for this is because some of the differences are massive, like for example the difference between a pentecostal and a eastern orthodox christian. Stick the two in a debate the only thing they will agree on is that jesus was a god figure. On the other hand take the northern baptists and atlantic baptist convention. They believe pretty much the same things with some small exceptions lately. The only real difference is that the Atlantic convention uses a gass roots democratic style of local self governance.
So if we think of religions like the tree of life then abrahamic religions would be one class (like mammals are) and each ending denomination would be its own seperate species.

There are numerous significant contradictions between the Speed Die Rules and the Classic Rules.
Yeah but they all have different bibles and apocrypha anyway, so why wouldnt it be valid to think of them as different games/religions.
