Let's say for a minute you believed the God of the Bible was real, just saying, do you really think He would allow man to test Him in His goodness? That's a possibility that I've wondered about too.

In Matthew 4:7 Jesus tells the devil, "Again it is written,'You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.'"
1st Corinthians 10:9 We must not put Christ to the test, as some of them did were destroyed by serpents.
Acts 5:9 But Peter said to her,"How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord. This was Ananias and Sapphira who was testing the Holy Spirit.
It doesn't pay to put God to the test, not any part of the trinity. It's clear from these three verses that the Trinity stands as one and the same God.
I've seen part of a church put God to the test and all those that were involved, well let just say they were the only ones to suffer in that church, to many people in to short of a time to be a coincidence.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
