The essence of Poe's Law is that it's very difficult to tell the sincere fundamentalist from the person making fun of him. You can probably push things pretty far before people go from thinking you're some kind of Christian prodigy to becoming suspicious that you might be mocking them. Given your situation, you don't want the latter. But having them think you're 101% devoted could lead to some interesting and funny experiences.
