I don't believe that is true. As I mentioned above, most Christians seem to think there is no problem with having so many different denominations, despite the aforementioned Scriptures.
There are certain sects who do seem to think they are the only ones who are correct, such as the twelve tribes, seventh day adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses, but overall, most Protestant sects accept one another, and many of them aren't even opposed to Catholicism.
I've spoken to more than 5 different sects. When I point out the denomination problem, most of the xtians think it is a problem that I've talk to. When I ask them what makes their denomination the correct one, they give me the same internal revelation speech you just did.
So I don't believe your claim that "most Christians seem to think there is no problem with having so many different denominations." And I certainly don't buy your reason on why your version is correct.
