I have no issues with necro posting. I personally don't even think it should be against the rules (but alas I do not make zeh rules so I am forced to try my best to follow them).

But of all the threads to revive, this one? Ugh

As luck would have it a lot of members who contributed to this thread are still around.

However, when you get someone posting in reply to someone who hasn't been active for 2+ years it becomes kind of nonsensical. We must also consider that there are other threads currently open that deal with this topic, so having duplicate threads at the same time is pointless.

Delete it then. The conversation was an old one, but every thread has the same incorrect statements being made that need to be highlighted.

We don't delete posts or threads unless under given circumstances. We have rules, though, and this is one of them. I appreciate that you wanted to make a point and post a rebuttal, which is fine.
