I hold a doctorate in Hebrew Language and Literature from Vanderbilt University. My special interests include literary criticism of biblical literature, the history of ancient Israelite religion, historical Jesus research. I am a Pantheist. You might say that I deify Existence. I look forward to mature, stimulating, enlightening and civil conversations with the members here.
