I like occasionally responding to social niceties like "Did you have a good day?" or "How are you doing?" with drawn out diatribes describing my current woes and irritations, secretly reveling in how uncomfortable I'm making the other person feel when you know they were expecting a simple "Yeah" or "Okay" response. It's especially fun to do this when you don't know the person very well which hugely magnifies the probability that they are expecting a standard, one-word response to their greeting.
Maybe next time I'll throw in an absurd definition request.
