As has been touched upon in another thread, most people agree that it is ridiculous for the medical profession to refuse blood donations from homosexual men who are sexually active.
My question centers around the morality of lying to medical professionals about one's sexual orientation in order to donate blood nonetheless. Is it morally advisable for sexually active homosexual men to lie in order to donate blood, plasma, organs?
I personally believe it is morally acceptable to lie in this instance.
