It's also important to make a distinction between Sharia civil and punitive law. Punitive Sharia is applied in even less countries than this list suggests. Sharia civil law on the other hand is nothing but dispute arbitration in property cases. To mix both together is the same mistake as taking Jihad only to mean holy war.
