I missed the part where they made subtle appeals to racism based on a bullshit claim about him being born in Africa. Perhaps you could fill me in?

Everyone knows politics is rough-and-tumble. But that's no reason to not call bullshit when it happens. Appealing to race in a political attack hurts the country these guys have sworn to serve.
