Just a random thought, no idea of what to make of it.
Religion itself isn't what I would classify as the myth. For instance: God is a myth, but the religion of Christianity isn't. It's just an organization of people who believe in the mythological figurehead (god) associated with it. At some point it will follow suit with every other religion over the course of history, and become obsolete.
