I've been here long enough to remember a time when Mystic considered himself agnostic, and actually asked good questions, and pointed out logical reasons to disbelieve.
It would be interesting to find out his thought process (or more likely, his lack of thought process), that caused him to become a believer again. I certainly hope it isn't the flawed arguments he posts here.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
