Untrue!
'Only' about 66% of claimed rapes are false, as statistical analyses show. Two-thirds! I.o.w.: a comfortable majority of claimed rapes is complete bullshit IRL.
"He raped me" is – and has been through the ages – a favorite left hook of women who want to lash out at, and knock out one particular guy, or blackmail him. Or of women who use it to convince their partner they were not unfaithful to him but 'forced' to screw this other guy while, in reality, these women were simply playing the field.
Fortunately we now have DNA, which can prove what really happened in most cases.
I'll believe your 66% number when you give me a citation that shows peer-reviewed confirmation. Until then, it reeks of misogyny.
I agree with the sentiment that false accusations are incredibly harmful, and we should try to avoid them if possible, but man, I just can't get past the awful idea that women are nearly all lying bitches out to hurt men with false accusations of rape. That sounds too much like blaming and dismissing the victim. "She was asking for it" fallacy, if you will.
I'm not sure that guy was serious or trolling, if he was serious he's one of the worst posters on the site.
