You can look him up here but I think you have to register for free to access the page that lists his races. He ran 15 races at Jacksonville and another 36 races at Orange Park. It shows him as pulled up in the last race because that's when he was injured. He had already broken a different leg at Bluff's Run before they shipped him off to Florida.
All kidding aside...
I registered at the link and was sifting through Holland Popeye's credentials. I was actually taken aback by the pedigree that's available. Lot's of Holland's in the names.
We said goodbye to a German Shepherd last year and have a ten year old Jack Russell. We have recently talked about adopting another dog. Your signature line and this conversation gives me pause for thought regarding the adoption of a greyhound. The three pictures I saw suggests that Holland Popeye is happy and playful. I will likely PM you to badger you about your experience with HP. I have enough yard for proper exercise and a dedicated area with a nice kennel (sweat and blood in that...he he), but my wife will demand that our adopted pet be indoors at least overnight, if you get my meaning. Are adopted greyhounds ok for indoors? Like I said, I will likely PM you with questions of this nature.
