Neil Armstrong? After reading just what this man accomplished in his life I am so happy he was here and made it to the moon. 'Lucky bastard' .....all that hard work he put in and being in the right place to use it all.... he had a great 'innings'
82 is a great age to die, especially after having lived so well. He was the first one on a totally different "world" no one can take that away from him.
My sympathies to his family and loved ones..I'm sure they will miss him greatly.
Thought you all might enjoy this............

Quote:The Universe
Neil Armstrong gave what was to be his final interview May 2012 to the Certified Practicing Accountants of Australia. In the interview he talks about Apollo 11’s historic lunar landing, his thoughts on leadership and taking risks to innovate for the future. The link is to the videos of the interviews, where he is interviewed for almost an hour.
Of his time on the moon's surface, he said: "It was special and memorable but it was only instantaneous because there was work to do. We weren't there to meditate. We were there to get things done. So we got on with it."
Why accountants? Neil Armstrong's father Stephen worked as an auditor for the Ohio state government.
