Let's say you're right (you're not, but let's go with it for now) that the Nazi's killed 200,000 civilians either by overworking or starving them. Isn't that enough to be a holocaust? If not, what's your number?

Are you saying that some were non-deliberately killed (what does that mean, accidentally killed?) or that people were killed individually by gas, or that the Nazis killed no civilians by gas?
Aside from what actually happened, do you agree the Hitler planned or wanted to get rid of all jews and other "undesireables" from Germany?
What sickens me about his argument is "it was only 100,000". What the fuck?
I don't give a shit if it was 100 Muslims or blacks or atheists or 100,000 Muslims blacks or Jews. The reason we still have genocide committed in Africa by both Christians and Muslims against is because of morons like this making labels the issue rather than genocide being the issue.
For the same reason Hitler was able to convince Germans Jews were bad is the same reason Muslims and Christians in Africa still murder each other. Our stupid tribalistic evolution gets turned into a comic book strive to be the alpha male under the false guise of "chosen people". Hitler thought Germans were special and chosen.
Until that insidious meme dies humans will continually look for ways to prop up their political and religious labels above the scientific reality that we have never stopped being the same species.
The lesson of the Holocaust should be the same as the lesson of the slavery of blacks, the genocide of Native Americans and the current genocide going on in Africa. Getting into numbers and labels games is a deadly distraction and does humanity no good at all.
