So the creation of the pyramids MUST be steeped in mythology, akin to the notion that god created the universe.

Merely asserting that the notion of God creating the Universe is steeped in mythology does not make it so.

Saying NASA built those rockets must also be of mythological proportions, for we have no evidence besides religious texts that tell us that these things were created, right?

Again, merely asserting that we have no evidence for creation besides religious texts does not make it so.

I made a peanut butter jelly sandwich, but saying that I did it is obviously a copout, for we need to explore exactly how I did so. Let's put these events on par with the start of the universe, shall we?

No, you are not allowed to scientifically believe you made a peanut butter sandwich; that is a lazy position that explains nothing. You must formulate a purely unguided and natural explanation for how the sandwich was made. No creation allowed sir!

As for me and my sammich...well, if you doubt I can make one of those, then you need help.

I do not, nor do I doubt that an omnipotent God can create the Universe.

Now, show us your evidence that god, and nothing else, created the universe.

Obviously only a god would have the capacity to create the Universe. It’s a logical necessity that it has to have been Yahweh.

Well, this is your project to work on then. At this point, if you tell us god made the universe, we may as well say Bobo the clown did it, if not Barney the Dinosaur.

Absurd, a clown and a dinosaur do not possess the means to create anything ex nihilo.

Saying that god made the universe may help you sleep at night, but it gets you no closer to the truth, whatever it may be.

It is the truth. Postulating an absurd and impossible explanation for how something can naturally arise from nothing is what gets you no closer to the truth.
