Odd. Here I just wanted the legal benefits of marriage (mostly the whole, 'if she's in hospital, they let me be there for her' bit). I don't give a rat's left pinky toe about it for reasons of 'equality' XD If there were no specific legal/financial benefits to be gained by marriage: I can't see a damn reason to do it.
Ps: that's one 'gay couple' that wants something entirely unrelated to equality XD
