"See ye not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another,
and made the moon a light (noor) in their midst,
and made the sun as a lamp (siraaj)? "
We all know the moon is reflecting light from the Sun.
In arabic, "nur" or "noor" means shiny thing or something that reflects the light , glow .
Ok so in Surat An-Nūr 24:35, Allah reflects light? From Whom? There someone greater?
"Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth."
You have to choose, one word cannot mean 2 opposite things. If the moon reflects light, so does Allah! If Allah is the source of light (which makes sense) then the moon is a source of light too.
No matter how you put it it doesn't work xD
