That sword pommel is interesting. Not peened, so it's fair to assume that it's all one solid forging or threaded on the inside, and seams at the point where the metal is no longer visible under the handle wrap. Having a solid forging would make securely wrapping the handle a unique challenge, so a threaded tang would make the most sense.
Either way, neither technique is historically accurate in terms of manufacture, and sooooo many fantasy settings are shown to have equivalent manufacturing technology to Middle-age periods, which means that thread-taps SHOULDN'T exist, and neither should that sword.
