Six years, but my 'crops' turn every 4 months (indoor), so it's roughly equivalent to 18 years (minus seasonal pest considerations).

Meh, a year is a year regardless of turnover, but that's impressive. Indoor you say? Have you set a control that you don't apply any of the oil to? How did that turn out?

Yes, I use the same organic capsaicin oil from the same manufacturer, and in the same proportions each time. I also have a pal with access to gas Chromatigraphy equipment who measures my levels (as well as my crop potency when cured).

Awesome man...I hope you charge more than the average bear considering the lengths you've gone to. So, no buildup of toxins....why not, cap should stack over time just the same as anything else. Do you not use the same potting containers/media batch after batch?


Rgr about the records, but...honestly, you ought to keep them for yourself. Find a cipher you like or something. There's no real way to determine what effect anything you're doing is having unless you keep accurate records. By the by...by law (federal law)...you're required to keep records about things you apply to your lawn...and cap oil is no exception. Not that I don't understand why you don't...just throwing that out there. Its a charge you'd find on your arraignment and might otherwise be mystified about. Depending on severity, the penalties can be greater than that for actually growing your lawn. One day, when it's legal to grow your lawn...those records would be worth their weight in gold.

For the casual observer, accurate records with regard to some commonly grown commodities are near to non-existent. It would be swell if this weren't the case.
