The thing is, where there are people, there is drama and in-fighting. And, the bigger the community, the louder the war cries. IMHO, people taking off to another site is akin to someone moving across the country to get away from their problems. Problems inevitably follow. That’s just the nature of the beast. What are people going to do when the honeymoon phase is over at the new location; when someone gets angry over a staff decision, or a series of them; when the crowd grows large enough that in-fighting starts taking a serious toll on members? Where to then? I don’t mean to come across as judgmental of the folks leaving. Quite the contrary; I like these folks and this is an appeal to them to stay. Obviously, people should do what they feel is best for them, but I just wonder, in the grand scheme of things, if things will be truly be objectivity different anywhere else.
