Quote:“THIS VERSE DOES NOT CONTRADICT ANY TEACHINGS ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF PAIN FROM AN ANCIENT UNDERSTANDING.”My sources are the quran, which is saying that burning hurts, with no mention of pain receptors or where the pain receptors are or if burnt skin does or does not feel pain once it is burnt.
By looking at your confidence, I have asked you to provide some references from sixth or seventh centuries:
It isn't saying the old burnt skin feels no pain, it is saying burning skin hurts and burning more skin hurts more.
And I'm quite certain that ancient man understood that burning skin hurt.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.
