This guy you speak of sounds like someone who was never educated on the subject. I've seen these fossils myself in the natural history museum. I've questioned them and they make sense. There are warehouses filled to the roof with fossils.

My advice is to study more about it before judging it...espcialy if it's acknowledged as scientific fact.
