You've all posted very well here. I didn't know if AM was some "straight culture" thing I just wasn't ever going to understand for obvious reasons or something else mysterious.
I know gay couples in 'open' relationships, and 'closed' relationships. AFAIK, they are all honest about it with their partners and friends.
LOL, as soon as marriage became legal in Iowa, a couple I know who were then in a 'closed' relationship, 'negotiated' a legal marriage deal for themselves, and they are now in an 'open' relationship and legally married. I don't pretend to understand their situation, and I don't really care, they are happy, their financial futures are secure, and they are still fun to be with.
All my gay friends are fun to be with. Except that one Lesbian couple, but their dysfunction seems to work for them and very well at that, and gives the rest of us something to talk about. [wink]
