Were you actually brought up in the same environment.....clearly not, so whatever superficial similarity you see....I don't think it's the operative bit. As mentioned, many times, no ones -blaming- mommy and daddy, and I;m pretty sure that I;ve also accepted that he might have simply been inclined to do this regardless, we're recognizing that they made their contribution, and that this outcome is non-random, that this sort of environment encourages the outcome. Their weirdness is christian weirdness only insomuch as they insist it to be, but had the environment been created to please vishnu....I'd be similarly unsurprised if the outcome was similar...as would the mental health profession in general.
