The idea that aliens are advanced in evolution beyond us is what we have been fed for a long time.
The reason they have been avoiding us so well is they are currently restrained.
The elete have been in some contact with them though.

When the hourglass sands run out, they will be released.
They are part of God's judgement on the world.
Called in the bible "Believing A lie"- "Because they have rejected the truth- God will allow them to believe a lie".

Nature in all forms despises a vacuum, the rejection of truth leaves a place for lies to fill.
