Catholic_Lady, I grew up in the Catholic faith. I would be lying if I told you I still don't have 'issues' with the RCC. But, I'm evolving. lol That said, when I was a Catholic, I looked at atheism as a mysterious concept. It didn't make sense to me, and seemed so far off from what I believed. But, at the end of it all, we are very much alike. Most of us here wouldn't hurt others, simply because it'd be wrong to do. Now that I'm no longer religious, (and my path to atheism wasn't immediate) ...I see atheism in a vastly different light than when I was viewing it through the lens of Catholicism. Although, Pope Francis states that all atheists will go to heaven. That's so nice of him.
