You might think you "know" about things, but you don't at all comprehend them or understand their implications. The WHO has spent the last 30 years defending and expanding upon the principles of the Ottawa Charter - it tells you right away that TQ is relevant in health. If that's not enough, others have directly branched from it to develop other high-level theories in health (see the SDoH or anything written by Marmot in the past decade and published in a Journal, or view one of his many presentations available on Youtube). Ignoring academic advancements made in health is no different to Christians ignoring academic advancements made in history and science. These theories that I'm talking about, which provide the very theoretical framework where religion itself can provide benefits, are used by government agencies in policy-making. They're not ignored, they're not fringe theories, they're not based on hocus-pocus or low quality studies. In fact you will find plenty of examples where the theories are specifically mentioned by government agencies as guiding practise.
There are disciplines where you could potentially be expelled for holding your views for being incompatible with evidence-based practise. And of course, people in serious healthcare disciplines do get expelled for that very reason (doctors, surgeons, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, carers, dieticians, nutritionists, youth workers, public health workers, etc, etc, etc). Here's an example, I laughed when I saw that page. Of course the bitch was expelled for not following evidence-based practise, and that's not at all surprising since so many people go into the dietetic discipline with strongly held beliefs, and refuse to accept new findings (noting that it's a rapidly advancing science); and the DAA has clear guidelines for practise (see this example) so of course if you refuse to follow them you will be expelled! Lawyers, police officers, military, aviation, and many other non-health related disciplines are also areas where people can get disbarred/expelled for misconduct. You really don't seem to understand or comprehend the seriousness of your wilfully ignorant views.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK
"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
