CIJS,
On my breaks at work, I will usually go to GNC to get a healthy snack of some sort. Now, yesterday I picked up a box of Lenny and Larry's cookies and also bought a fitjoy (birthday cake flavor) bar. Now, the person who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable (I think she's new). After she was done helping me, she suggested that I complete an online survey in order to tell GNC how my experience was; she also did mention that it would help her out too (it was innocent and friendly). Now, as a fellow person in retail, I know how pushy management can be in regards to getting surveys on a daily basis, and based on my observations, companies seem to prefer that acknowledgements of excellence be made via online surveys rather than delivering them in person. As a result, I completed the survey a couple of hours ago and made the following points. First, they have a good person working for them who seems to be genuinely nice and is not just nice because it's her job. Second, this person is knowledgeable and goes that extra mile to help people out, which makes her a great asset to the organization. Third, it is my hope that GNC treats her well and that she climbs up the ranks (if she wants to) and is successful. Fourth, I followed up her excellence by also complimenting the staff on their excellence at this particular location. Hence, I hope that this survey will help her out. More importantly, I hope that she is able to achieve her goals and dreams. Live long and prosper.
