It gets better. Time is the most effective balm, as well as not dwelling on it too much. You can fall down a rabbit hole with that dwelling business. I see you are remembering your grandmother and how much you enjoyed each other's company. That has to help, a lot. I would like to comment that both you and J A C K have writing styles that are very nice. You two ought to get together and write some really nice prose. :yup:
