It might be thought that the victory was an example of one person who sacrificed themself in the fight against evil and it happened so people may choose to do the same.

Evil is such a convoluted term, especially in relation to the theistic way of thinking, which really isn't thinking at all.

The only evil was ever the type created by religion itself, because religious people have this tendency to believe in that which makes them veritably insane and delusional; finding evil where there is merely humanity that lives differently than the primitive mindset.
