So it sounds like those ignorant Wahabi-Salafis in the West are butthurt that their narrative of Hijabs are great and are never forced upon anybody is being compromised.
You don't have to have a written law to have social pressure dictate behaviors. There is no law forcing people in the west to attend church either, but in tons of locations to not do so is to risk being a social outcast regardless of what the law says.
