I'm not sure how to answer that in the context of bars, since I never go to bars. I really don't like public places with noisy people. I'm not a fan of strangers hitting on me, either.
Do I personally tell people that I am transgender, though? If I know someone, they know my history. I'm very open with anyone close to me. I have no reason to hide anything.
That's good that your able to trust those close to you, no one close to me at the moment knows any of my personal history. I was just using the bar has a example of common place where men flirt with woman.
