I was talking to my friends twin sister who had this whole perception about what Trump supporters were like. She projected it upon me to the point she asked me if I thought men should be paid more than women. I disagreed with her that men should be paid more than women, and she accused me of lying, and pretending to support something just to please her because she couldn't grasp the fact that someone would agree that men should be paid the same amount as women. She actually believed all Trump supporters must think the opposite as her, and refused to agree with me, even though I agreed with her. Complete mind control lol
The blatant unreason your sister exhibited there reminds me of speaking to hardcore theists. Scary. There's just no reasoning with some people.
I also have a story about myself, a trump supporter, engaging someone like that. My buddy and I were watching TV at his place, and his roommate comes in and they get in an argument about some bullshit. My friend eventually said something to the effect of "Let's not do this right now; I'm trying to chill with my buddy." The roommate responds, "your friend is a racist asshole anyway." My friend and I are both stunned, and call him out on it; "How the fuck is he racist/How the fuck am I racist?" The roommate then asks, "You support Trump, right?" "yes, I do" I say. He turned around and went back to his room with a "Well then you're a racist asshole!!"
