I'm guessing they don't. They're not exactly coddling themselves, so much as being coddled. Look at mommy and daddy. Our sensitivities are cultural, a set of learned behaviors regarding what is and is not appropropriate..the discomfort reaction to taboo is generated by it;s foreign or alien nature, by our unfamiliarity. We don't manufacture it personally and privately.
OTOH, the crucifixion belongs in the same category as the faces of death movies, so, if we're gonna put trigger warnings on anything, some shit about nailing a jew to a piece of wood is a sensible candidate. What's the worst hat could happen, sensitive little christers might realize that they've been beating it to murder pron?
