Quote:Theology students at a prestigious U.K. university were warned they may witness disturbing images when reading about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The University of Glasgow in Scotland introduced the ‘trigger warnings’ for students taking the class "Creation to Apocalypse: Introduction to the Bible (Level 1)."

Jesus fucking christ..... what a bunch of pussies.
This is more a consequence of the mainstream (and quite a few fundy) versions of christianity trying to repurpose their religion into one of peace, removing all the violent bits from public view. As a result it turns out a right land when people first glimpse the violence, like if you introduced a new character into My Little Pony and showed her graphically killing and devouring Apple Blossom.
