The vilification of the police is what's led to more black lives being lost, you think? Here I was thinking that it might be the guns cops fire, and that certain sound they make....that led to more lives lost. There's never going to be a point where you're going to be able to pin cops shooting people on an organization that protests cops shooting people. Not with me, at least.
I think you misunderstood. I'm not saying that BLM is leading to cops shooting black people.
I think that the massive increase in the homicide rate (mostly black victims) in Chicago has already been identified as being caused by police being to afraid to do their jobs for fear of being labelled racist. The number of increased homicides easily exceeds the number of blacks shot by cops. Clearly, the police that BLM has identified as the problem, are actually needed to prevent black lives from being lost.
This is what I meant by unintended consequences. The laudable intent of BLM has lead to more black lives being lost.
If god was real he wouldn't need middle men to explain his wants or do his bidding.
