I did dislike a few things but that is with anyone, no one is perfect. I think the main issue I have with the health care is making people have it. I like that it is available to everyone and I think it does good but it shouldn't hurt you to not have it. People can decide to not own a car therefore not need car insurance but they can't be an adult and make decisions about their own health?
I guess the difference is that you can decide to not own a car and thus not need car insurance, but you can't decide to not have a body. And bodies get injured, and they get sick, and there's no telling when or how badly.
Yes but when it comes to the body that is more personal than law. Who should say what we do to it? I'm big in thinking drugs, alcohol, prostitution, suicide (because of physical issues not depression) abortion, etc should all be legal for adults. I do agree parents should have insurance for minors since the minors can't have it for themselves.
Plus it is their decision to not have insurance for when they get sick. Make it available and if they decide not to that's their decision. Government shouldn't force something like that on an adult.
