Kuwait is now distributing 100,000 free Swedish translations of the Quran in Sweden in “an effort to educate the Swedish people on Islamic values of coexistence.”
The U.S. State Department condemned the desecration of the Quran in Stockholm, but said Swedish authorities were right to authorize the small protest where it occurred:
"We believe that demonstration creates an environment of fear that will impact the ability of Muslims and members of other religious minority groups from freely exercising their right to freedom of religion or belief in Sweden,"
The United Nations Human Rights Council has also adopted a resolution Wednesday condemning the burning of the Quran as an act of religious hatred.

- I think this is the right approach here. I think political islamist mass demonstrations in which Swedish and other flags are being burned are completely out of context and are using this issue of non-tolerance toward minority groups for other distorted goals.
I think this is how we are supposed to respond to that. Not through hatred. My favorite quote in this article is “To educate … people on Islamic values of coexistence”.
So: Good job Kuwait!
