Just out of curiosity, what exactly did you send to NoReligion?
I can't remember exactly but it was either a general question for the essay or asking him to calm down. Either way he responded like a twat. You can't really win with idiots like that because they know they're on a forum where they'll always be defended right to the end, and if you give them a piece of your mind you're the bad guy, and if you act calm and ignore the bullshit, you're a troll who's quietly enjoying it all. That's why I sometimes dislike forums where everyone is united by a common theme, especially an emotive one or one that can define a person's self identity, which I think applies to atheism just as much as religions. There's a real "villagers with pitchforks" mentality there. At the risk of casting suspicion on myself by saying this, I'm not surprised that forums like that get trolled a lot. They really do ask for it. Some people have no idea how to run a forum properly, they don't seem to realise that there are most probably a lot of people lurking, and being put off joining, or worse, deciding to have a little fun of their own.
And check this out. I haven't read it myself but I will in a second. This guy (Hytegia) also thinks I'm trolling. Like I say, you go on a forum to ask questions and out come the pitchforks.
