No, I take it as an insult because you make stupid generalizations about people you know little about, just as you did here. I was never indoctrinated into being an atheist as you like to assume. No one ever taught me to be an atheist, I just didn't find Christianity credible whe I went to church. I then came to the conclusion that the human mind has too much emotion invested into the question of whether a god exists to be objective. Also, I am constantly looking outside my view to help better understand my own, and I've never taken a position just because someone else did. When you say stupid things like that, you lose your position as the rational and logical person you strive so hard to appear as.
Grow up and drop the ignorant generalizations. If you want to know my position on things just ask, but don't pretend to know a damn thing as to why I believe until you do.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
