All these statements and yours have something in common - they are forms of wishful thinking that don't justify your beliefs. All the evidence we already have indicates that we have uncovered the real age of Varanasi.
Rubbish.
All the study which you refer to have uncovered the construction in place there not those who eventually where there before.
It is unlikely that in the far past (over 4000 years ago) people were using bricks or other types of solid construction in that area so if those construction were build with mud and straws it is obvious that it is difficult to find traces of them as they would have already melted and be part of the soil structure.
The study which you refer to doesn't explore the possibility that among the soil structure there may be traces of old mud and straws so until a proper study is undertaken the best thing to do is not to come to quick conclusion and to claim victory.
Quote:"Having a connection" - a tenuous one at that - doesn't mean they go hand in hand or that they originated at the same time.
No, it doesn't mean but at the same time it could mean especially when you see the positive results.
May i know on what sort of experiences you come to your conclusion?
Do you practice yoga meditation?
If so do you think that would be possible to practice it without a sanskrit mantra and by non sitting in a lotus posture?

When i say that Shiva was there 7000 years ago you asked me for evidence.
Now you make a statement in which you say that Shiva never existed.
Can you be consistent with your arguments and give me the evidence that Shiva never existed?
Quote:Once I see some evidence coming from you, sure.
You made the claim first and I asked for evidence first, so you'll have to give it first. After you've done so and I've examined it, I'll provide my evidence.
I am sorry but you are the one who made a statement and all statement must come up with evidence.
If you have no evidence to back up your statement you should not make such a statement.
I on the contrary i put on the table things that make sense and are connected one an other.
If you keep on refusing to come up with something that back up your statement i will have to believe that you just made it up.
