Other than that, it seems to me that both peace of mind and happiness are quite common in the world. Maybe you feel that they should be eternal and persistent states, but I don't see why that has to be the case. It seems to me that peace of mind and happiness are transient states that depend on many factors, some of which we can control and some we cannot. So we continue to strive to achieve peace of mind and happiness, and depending on our circumstances and our mental approach, we reach them from time to time. Some people (like myself) reach them pretty regularly without resorting to spirit-worlds or intuitional science or metaphysics or whatever it is you believe is the only source of peace and happiness.
If this universe would be the only thing that exist why is not able to satisfy our longing for peace of mind and total happiness?
Thus, it seems the universe is doing a pretty good job of satisfying my longing for peace of mind and happiness. As for total happiness, I'm not even sure what that is, but maybe the lack of it is proof that there are no gods, and no metaphysical realms, and no sciences that let us find it. That seems like a reasonable conclusion to reach as well. Maybe the problem isn't the universe. Maybe some people are simply too greedy and unable to enjoy what they have.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
