God is light. The eternal Great I am. The sum total of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding who created our full reality (the universe and all contained within) by the power of his spoken word.

The only reason why we exist. We were created for his pleasure.
Those that put their faith and trust in him are promised to spend eternity with him. It is called faith. Faith comes be hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (The Biblical scriptures). Hope this helps a little.

But wait a second.. If he's "the sum total of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding", then he's humanity and nothing else. As sun is not conscious and holds no knowledge. And what of this spoken word? If I could create anything, I would give people telepathic abilities, so that no one could be misunderstood.

"We were created for his pleasure". Why on earth would an omni-* being feel the need to feel pleasure? Why not create more gods, that would be equal to him? No, instead your god works as a bully, he wants to be the most powerful one in a bunch of morons, so that he gets his pleasure from feeling superior? He's a douchebag! On another note, why is it a he? If your god is the only one, he wouldn't need a gender. Why not call it a she, or better yet just it?

The Bible is a shitty fairytale book, even I knew that when I read it as a five-year-old. I care little for faith, I need proof and critical thinking.
