I was at AF.com pretty regularly but then they had a period of some serious technical glitches. For about 3 weeks I could not even access the site. It was then that I found AF.org and, like you, I stayed here even after they fixed the glitches. I still drop in once a day though. There are some good people over there.

And a few theistic fuckheads to make it interesting.

What subject does your Phd come under? Politics?

Hey mate cheers - Yes it does technically come under Politics I guess, although the actual "course" number I think is religion and politics. There aren't too many who are doing similar subjects, either going down the theology route or just another facet of political science, so it can get kind of ronery sometimes Sad oh well, that's what forums are for eh?

Thanks for the welcome all, appreciate it - Hopefully I'll become a more regular poster here Smile

Hey Minimalist, yes I've seen you over there as well too! You have the monty Python Avatar which I love.

TLD is top level domain. Just means you now swing both ways. .Org and .Com

I sincerely hope you do too.

As you are doing work on your Phd, what do you think about the way religious charities treat non religious people in places like Africa? I have read about Catholic charities refusing help to non Catholics. Is this a rarity?

Also what uni are you studying at? Or did study at?

RE: Hi
Well, since you're not claiming to be TOO smart, I guess it's okay for you to be here. I too was at the distinguished other forum before I came here.
