Ah, a Driza-bone. The only time I've actually seen anyone actually wearing one was in Europe. Husband and wife tourists,also each wearing an Akubra with badges all over it. They certainly stood out in crowd. I have no idea if they were arrested by the fashion police. I saw them in Paris, so probably.

When I lived in Camden NSW they were EVERYWHERE!! Totally impractical for Western Australia but soggy NSW Highlands?? Bliss...

8 - 13 rabbits to make an Akubra according to Doctor Carl, I thought it was more.
